
Blessing & Groundbreaking Ceremony of the new Tourism, Culture and Arts Center
A special groundbreaking ceremony was held today February 1, 2023, to officially introduce the New Tourism, Culture and Arts Center (Villa and Bugarin Building).
The establishment of the new tourism building is aligned with National Government through it’s Department of Tourism’s (DOT) Tourist Rest Area (TRA) Program to fulfill the objective of improving the tourists over all experience and ensure their convenience during their travel in the municipality.
The TRA will highlight the availability of hygeinic facilities for tourists and travelers who will be visiting our tourism destination and will also feature a coffee shop, and a “Pasalubong” and souvenir shop showcasing our culture, cuisines, local industries such as buri hand woven products, and at the same time a tourist information desk that will provide visitors vital information on the areas of attraction, maps, accommodations,
and other tourism- related matters and queries.
Furthermore, the establishment of this progressive structure will obtain valuable access to the sustainable growth and socio -economic development of the local tourism industry after having heavily impacted by the Covid 19 pandemic.
Municipal Mayor Alfonso F. Celeste, MD was joined by the lot donor Madam Erlinda Villa, SB members Hon. Carolina Abad, Hon. Joven Caasi, Hon. Bethseba Camba, Hon. Jesus Dela Cruz, Liga ng Barangay President Hon Josefino Celeste, SB Secretary Atty. Juan Ayar Montemayor, Municipal Tourism Officer Ms. Mary De Guzman, Engr. Olan Roy Celzo and other project partners to formally break ground at the building site located along Brgy. Liwa-Liwa, Bolinao, Pangasinan.
The blessing ceremony was officiated by Rev. Fr Manny C. Unto.
Moreover, we would like to thank Madam Erlinda Villa and Bugarin Family for donating the lot for the said new municipal building.
