UNDAS 2022: ZERO DROWNING, ZERO CRIME-RELATED INCIDENT RECORDED
The Local Government Unit of Bolinao, Pangasinan thru the strong leadership of Hon. Mayor Alfonso F. Celeste, MD, remains to be a safe destination for all tourists and a safe place to live for its constituents as the municipality has recorded a “Zero Crime and Zero Drowning Incident” during the entire duration of this year’s commemoration of All Saints Day and All Souls Day in October 29- to November 1, 2022.
The celebration has been generally peaceful even the town have been recently hit by tropical storm “Paeng”.
Municipal Tourism Officer Ms. Mary De Guzman attributed the peaceful observation of UNDAS 2022 to the proper coordination of various law enforcement agencies, volunteer force multipliers, Bolinao Tourism Office Personnel, RHU-1,and MDRRMO thru Oplan Undas Incident Management Team headed by Engr. Cherish Calicdan- Incident Commander and the proper implementation of safety and security guidelines to our major tourism sites, and ensure a safe visit to our public and private cemeteries where visitors and group of people are expected to gather to pay homage to their departed loved ones.
Furthermore, the local government seeks for a wider understanding from partner tourism stakeholders to bear with the current situation we are facing, because the LGU never ceases to protect and assist them, allowing everyone to have more business and income opportunities even at this time of disaster and calamity.
